Original sketch of Dick Tracy accomplished by Chester Gould in ink and watercolor on an off-white 9 x 3.5 card, dated September 21, 1973, with a note penned on the left side: "Hi Joe and Mike…The boss has run out of photos of himself so he had me pose for this. Hope you like it. Give my best to your Dad and Mother, and I send warm greetings to you. Sincerely, Chester Gould." In fine condition. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope, addressed in Gould's hand.
