Ink signature and inscription, “To Richard Ehru, with all good wishes, Ernest Hemingway,” on an off-white 7 x 10.75 sheet bearing an affixed portrait of Hemingway. Adhered to a slightly larger cardstock mount and in fine condition. The mounted portrait comes from the Life Magazine issue of November 8, 1954, which dedicated eight pages to the newly crowned Nobel Prize winner in Literature of that year. The iconic photo was taken by Leonard McCombe at Hemingway's Cuban residence.
