Signed and inscribed on the first free end page in blue ballpoint, "To Nelson M. Lynde, Major General USA Rtd., quondam Corporal 110th Eng. (Combat), and winner 'Best Individual Soldier'—Fort Leavenworth, Aug. 1924—with warm respect and long affection, Bob, (Robert A. Heinlein)," and signed again on the title page, "Robert A. Heinein." In fine condition. Book condition: VG+/VG, with a price-clipped jacket.
