ALS, one page, 5.5 x 8.5, August 23, 1891. Handwritten letter to Homer Lee, in full: "I congratulate you heartily. It would be a particular happiness for me to attend the wedding. I would do so if it were not simply out of the question. May I venture to send also my congratulations and kindest regards to Miss Riddle? 'May all good angels guard and keep.'" In very good to fine condition, with light creasing and a short tear to the top edge.
