Wife of Benjamin Harrison and First Lady from 1889 until her death in 1892. Scarce brief ALS signed "Caroline S. Harrison," on a 4.5 x 2.75 Executive Mansion card, no date. In full: "You may let Miss Lanigan have the photographs she desires for her article in Harpers Young People." In fine condition, with a crease to the top left corner, light brushing to a couple words of text, and mounting remnants to reverse.
