Letter to Herbert Magoun, in part: "Our students pay their board partly in work and partly in cash, but they are wholly unable in addition to pay the cost of teaching, which is Fifty Dollars per year for each one. If you can help us in any measure, however small, to meet the cost of tuition, we shall be very grateful. Our endowment is not sufficient to enable us to run the institution without asking help." In very good to fine condition, with some light creasing, short edge tears, and faint edge toning.
