ALS signed “P. Butler,” one page, 7.75 x 9.25, July 3, 1819. Handwritten letter to a gentleman, in full: "Inclosed I return to you Mr. Davis letter—In the present situation of my Daughter's health, I can not attend to any business." Affixed by its left edge to a slightly larger sheet and in fine condition. Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA.
