ALS, one page, 7 x 9, personal letterhead, April 18, 1913. Handwritten letter to Eleanor Elder, in full: "I am very sorry, but far as I know, there won't be anything in 'Strife' available. Please forgive this hurried scrawl." In fine condition. Accompanied by the original hand-addressed mailing envelope. Strife was a play written by Galsworthy, and opened at the Duke of York's Theatre in London in 1909 to critical acclaim.
