Exceptional certificate presented to a contributor to the Apollo 11 lunar landing mission, one page, 11 x 8.5, signed in the lower left in black felt tip by Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins. The certificate features an affixed decal of the Apollo 11 mission insignia and is imprinted with CDR Neil Armstrong's enduring quote: "I'm going to step off the LM now. That's one small step for man. One giant leap for mankind." Below, the certificate recognizes an individual's "Contribution and Effort toward The Success of the Apollo 11 Mission," and is signed by J. E. Davis of SIMCOM/Aerospace Division, Singer-Link Division. In fine condition, with faint edge toning, and three small binder dings to the bottom edge. The Lunar Module Simulators (LMS) in Houston and at the Kennedy Space Center were produced by the Link Group of Singer General Precision Systems, under contract to Grumman Aircraft Engineering Corporation.
