Vintage Yes tour program for their 1973 Tales from Topographic Oceans UK tour, 12 pages, 7.25 x 10.25, signed inside on the respective images in blue ballpoint by Steve Howe, Rick Wakeman, Chris Squire, Alan White, and Jon Anderson, who have all signed again on a full band image page; Wakeman has signed for a third time on a closing advertisement for his turn with the London Symphony Orchestra. In very good condition, with moderately heavy overall creasing, and some surface loss to the bottom edge of the cover.
Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks and by a letter of provenance from the original recipient: “As a youngster I was a collector of football teams autographs, YES appeared in concert at the Liverpool Empire Theatre on Friday 30th November and whilst I was waiting at St George's Hotel, Liverpool, hoping to see the footballers, I got chatting to two guys who wanted directions to a place in Liverpool, they said they were sound engineers for the tour party, I managed to obtain a programme from the previous evening’s concert. I explained to them that my surname was Howe, the lead guitarist of the band is also a Howe, not a known relation, the guys said when they came back to the hotel they would introduce me to Steve Howe and the other members and they would get the band to sign the programme. They were true to their word and invited me into the hotel lobby where all the members were chatting awaiting the tour bus to travel to the next destination.”
