Accompanied by an invitation pack for a cocktail reception celebrating the special Sotheby's sale ‘Freddie Mercury: A World of His Own,’ which was held on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, which contains the invitation, a Richard Young photo, and a limited edition photographic print, numbered 112/200.
Christopher Payne, the recipient of this card, is a world-renowned expert on period furniture, a specialist at Sotheby's for over 25 years, and a regular personality on BBC television's Antiques Roadshow. He has written widely on his subject and received this card in thanks for sending Freddie Mercury one of his publications.
