DS, fifteen pages, 8.25 x 11.75, January 1, 1989. Copyright document between Ganga Publishing and the Traveling Wilburys by which the band sells "a certain heretofore unpublished original musical composition, written and/or composed by the Writers, now entitled: Heading for the Light." The document goes on to outline terms pertaining to rights and the distribution of royalties. Nicely signed at the conclusion in ballpoint by Tom Petty (twice), Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Jeff Lynne, and Barbara Orbison (on behalf of her deceased husband, Roy Orbison). Additionally includes an ink signature, "Sincerely, Roy Orbison," on a blue 4.5 x 3.5 album page. In fine condition, with a photograph of the supergroup affixed to the signed page. Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from JSA.

Primarily written by George Harrison but credited to all five members of the band, "Heading for the Light" appeared on the rock supergroup's 1988 debut album Traveling Wilburys Vol. 1. Released as a promo single, the track peaked at number 7 on Billboard's mainstream rock chart. A superb contract signed by the Mount Rushmore of modern rock, representing one of their most popular songs.
