Letter to Mrs. Ray Corsini, in full: “I am enclosing copies of Louise Gault's letter and my reply. The casual way Doubleday goes about its business continues to amaze me. The photographs for the cover were taken December 13th and today was the first glimpse I saw of any and only the one they selected. I have not seen the others. Please make sure that I have final approval in time to make the publication date. I do not want to be told it is too late and have to let pass a cover that is not right.” Princess Grace adds the date in her own hand. In fine condition, with some light edge toning.
