Vintage glossy 7.75 x 10 publicity photo of the Oscar-winning actor in an outdoor pose, signed and inscribed in ink, "To Rae—Best wishes, Thomas Mitchell.” The lower border bears an affixed name caption. Ink notation to the reverse dates the autograph to April 1961. In very good to fine condition, with scattered light creasing, trimmed edges, and a light surface scrape touching his forehead.
