The event celebrated the presentation of a portrait of General William T. Sherman at the Society's club house on Fifth Avenue. In fine condition. Accompanied by a handsome presentation edition of The Speeches and Addresses of William McKinley, published by Doubleday & McClure in 1900, handsomely bound in three-quarter morocco with marbled boards.
