ALS signed “Mayne Reid,” one page, 5 x 8, April 21, 1869. Handwritten letter regarding a certain paperstock, in part: "Will you have the goodness to let the bearer, my Secretary, have the address of the stationer who supplies the cover paper of your magazine. I have not found an article of this kind to suit me and perhaps he could make me what I want." In fine condition, with a rusty circular paperclip impression to the top.
