Ink signatures as first family, "Harry S. Truman, USS Missouri, Sept 11, 1947," "Bess W. Truman," and "Margaret Truman,” on an off-white 5.5 x 4.75 card with an embossed presidential seal and a typed inscription: "With best wishes to the Royal page, P. V. Stillo (AETM3)." In fine condition. President Truman was accompanied by his wife and daughter on a flight to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to join in celebration of the country’s 125th anniversary of independence. They left the National Airport on August 31st and then boarded the USS Missouri for the return voyage home on September 7th, arriving in Norfolk 12 days later.
