Cook, in part: “I’m sorry to take forever to get back to you really, but we have been so busy on tour, writing and recording that I haven’t been able to catch up! Sorry!!! We have finished our eighth album and it will be out in March I believe. It is very special and I hope you will be as pleased with it as you have been with our music in the past.” In fine condition, with a tiny tear to the right edge. Chicago VIII returned the band to a more streamlined rock-based sound and peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Charts.
