Highly decorated Canadian ace (1894-1956) officially credited with 72 victories in World War I. Vintage 7 x 10 frontispiece removed from the autographed edition of The People's War Book and Atlas, published by R. C. Barnum in 1920, signed below in fountain pen, “W. A. Bishop.” The page remains attached to the book's title page. In fine condition, with a few tiny nicks to the left edge. The rest of the book is included but worn, with edgewear and a cracked front hinge.
