King of Sweden (1778-1837) from 1792 until he was deposed in an 1809 coup, who was the son of Gustav III of Sweden and his queen consort Sophia Magdalena; he was the last Swedish ruler of Finland. Manuscript DS in German, signed “Gustaf Adolphe,” one page both sides, 8 x 12.5, December 27, 1803. Untranslated document prominently signed at the conclusion in ink by King Gustav IV Adolf of Sweden. In fine condition, with intersecting folds and a few small stains. Accompanied by an unsigned engraved portrait.
