Desirable land grant issued to a Revolutionary War veteran

Partly-printed DS as president, signed "J. Q. Adams," one page both sides, 13 x 17.75, July 29, 1826. A grant for a parcel of land issued to John Bryant, "three years a serjeant [sic]," under the provisions of "An Act of Congress…entituled [sic] 'An Act to enable the Officers and Soldiers of the Virginia Line on Continental Establishment, to obtain Titles to certain Lands lying north-west of the river Ohio, between the Little Miami and Sciota.'" The white paper seal affixed to the lower left remains intact. In fine condition. Adams's signature is exceptionally bold and dark.
