Partly-printed DS, signed “Jas. C. Fargo,” one page, 11.5 x 8, March 4, 1891. Stock certificate for ten shares in the American Express Company issued to Mary L. Woodhouse, signed at the conclusion by James C. Fargo as president. A handsome certificate illustrated with a vignette of a watchdog, used by the company to symbolize trust and security. In fine condition.
