Five months later the company would collapse at the onset of the Panic of 1873. In fine condition. Accompanied by an 1866 Jay Cooke & Co. Bankers check, filled out and signed by writer and anti-suffragist Madeleine Vinton Dahlgren, "M .V. Dahlgren."
