Chinese political and military leader (1897-1965) who was one of the main National Revolutionary Army commanders during the Second Sino-Japanese War and the Chinese Civil War. Vintage matte-finish 9.75 x 12 photo of Chen Cheng, affixed to a 14 x 18 mount, signed and inscribed on the mount in ink, and dated August 12, 1961. In very good to fine condition, with light silvering to the image, and minor damage to the edges of the mount, and to the top edge of the photo.
