Manuscript DS, one page both sides, 10.75 x 16, May 1, 1849. Indenture between August Belmont and Henry C. de Rham, with the former assigning to the latter for the "sum of Three thousand two hundred and fifty dollars…that certain lot piece or parcel of land situate lying and being on the Southwesterly side of Exchange Place in the First Ward of the City of New York now known as No. 24 Exchange Place." In fine condition, with some skipping to the signature.
