Swedish chemist (1779-1848) known as one of the founders of modern chemistry. ALS in French, signed “Jac. Berzelius,” one page, 8.5 x 10.5, September 22, 1841. Untranslated handwritten letter by Berzelius sending thanks for French scientific books. In very good to fine condition, with creasing along the right edge, and small mounting remnants to the bottom blank area.
