ALS, four pages on two adjoining sheets, 4.5 x 7, Wavertree letterhead, no date. Handwritten letter to Mr. Smith, in part: "I have got the roots out of a bit of ground and shall be ready next week to plant if you should find it convenient to send me the things we selected. I shall be from house on Wednesday & Thursday so that if the things come on either of these days I could begin and plant them on Friday…if the weather continues it will suit well for planting." In fine condition.
