Laemmle and his son were responsible for the fantastic string of classic Universal horror films including Phantom of the Opera, Frankenstein, Dracula, and The Mummy. Vintage glossy 7 x 9 portrait of Laemmle by the Hartsook Photography Studio, signed in white fountain pen, “With all good wishes, Cordially yours, Carl Laemmle.” In very good to fine condition, with a small crease to the lower right corner, and fading the ink making the handwriting difficult to see except at an angle.
