Two items: an ALS signed "Fred Haise, Apollo 13 LMP," one page, 5.5 x 8.5, personal stationery, March 5, 2003, in part: "I sure wish I could see another big push for NASA, but unlikely during my lifetime with the state of the world environment. Too many other higher priorities for both the administration & congress to spend money on these days"; and a glossy 5 x 3.5 candid photo of Haise speaking with another man during a NASA rocket launch, signed and inscribed in black felt tip, "For Robert—Best wishes, Fred Haise, Apollo 13." In overall very fine condition. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope for the photo, which is postmarked May 9, 1983.
