Bank of the Metropolis check, 5.25 x 2, filled out and signed by Jackson as president,"Andrew Jackson," payable to "Andrew Jackson Jr." for $25, June 30, 1835. In fine condition, with a tiny hole at the center, and an old repair to the tear to the right edge. A rare example of a presidential check, effectively signed twice by the commander-in-chief.
