Virginian newspaper editor and fiery secessionist orator (1828-1919) who served as a Confederate general in the Civil War. LS signed “Roger A. Pryor,” one page, 4.75 x 8, September 27, 1883. Letter to F. J. Walton, regarding a photograph, in full: "I cannot recollect at the moment where you can get the thing you desire. A likeness without the uniform may be had of Falk, near the Fifth Avenue Hotel." In fine condition.
