(American Broadcasting Company, 1971) Original production cel of Ebenezer Scrooge from A Christmas Carol, displayed in its original 17.5 x 14 mat, signed and inscribed on the mat in black felt tip by the director, "Merry Christmas to Tom Brown, from Richard Williams and," and the producer, "Chuck Jones." In very good to fine condition, with light soiling and staining to the mat, and creases to its upper corner tips. A British-American animated adaptation of Charles Dickens's 1843 novella, A Christmas Carol was originally broadcast on ABC and won the 1972 Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film. Scrooge was voiced by Alastair Sim.
