Description

Defense attorney (1857-1938) noted for his role in the Scopes 'Monkey' Trial and the Leopold-Loeb thrill-killing case. Ink signature, "To Mr. Henry W. Jones with the kind regards of Clarence Darrow, Los Angeles, March 30th 1913," on an off-white 9 x 5.5 sheet. In very good to fine condition, with two separations to the two vertical folds repaired on the back, and a tear to the top center which could be matted out.
