Identical pair of original 17.5 x 22.5 posters for the Rock for Choice benefit concert at The Ritz in New York City on January 30, 1993, with upper text reading: “Marks the twentieth anniversary of Roe v. Wade. On January 22nd, 1973 the Supreme Court legalized abortion. Twenty years later, women are still fighting for their lives.” The posters lists acts like The Resistance (with Joey and Marky Ramone), Ann and Nancy Wilson, Sick of It All, and more. Caption to lower section reads: “Rock for Choice is a project of the Feminist Majority Fund & Foundation. Proceeds support national and local abortion rights organizing.” Rolled and in overall fine condition, with some chipping to edges.
