Description

"I don't think a person's political position has much bearing on whether his work is any good or not"

ALS, one page, 8.5 x 11, January 27, 1949. Letter to Wayne O. Moye, in part: "No, I don't think a person's political position has much bearing on whether his work is any good or not—of course if you write about politics—an enflamed subject these days—you have to expect people to howl when their pet preconceptions are stepped on." In fine condition. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope, addresses in Dos Passos's hand.
