Partly-printed DS as president, signed “Benj. Harrison,” one page, 22 x 17, August 3, 1889. President Harrison appoints William H. McCann of Hay Springs, Nebraska as "Register of the Land Office at Chadron, Nebraska." Signed boldly at the conclusion by Benjamin Harrison, and countersigned by Secretary of the Interior John W. Noble. In very good to fine condition, with a vertical crease running along the right edge of the text, and lighter creasing to the side edges.
