Description

Pioneering French veterinarian and pathologist (1814-1885) who served as president of the French Academy of Sciences. Uncommon 2.5 x 4 carte-de-visite photograph of Bouley by P. Sauvanaud, signed and inscribed on the reverse in ink, "A Paul Gibier, souvenir apical du 26 janvier 1864, H. Bouley." In fine condition.
