Dutch-Indonesian painter (1858-1928) who worked in various styles, including Symbolism and Art Nouveau. ALS in Dutch, one page both sides, 6 x 4.75, Anthony Nolet letterhead, August 28, 1921. Untranslated handwritten letter, penned by Toorop on both sides of one of Anthony Nolet's personal stationery cards. Nolet was a wine merchant and art collector who befriended the likes of Jan Toorop and Jan Sluijters. In fine condition, with a touch of light foxing.
