ALS in French, signed “Renoir,” one page, 4.5 x 6.75, Les Collettes letterhead, June 29, 1912. Letter to a friend, in full (translated): "My wife is going to Nice to reserve me a bed-chair and I will return right away with Gabrielle, around Thursday, Friday, or Saturday. Seats have to be reserved ahead of time, tell Pierre etc. I will write to you the day I will be sure of the day of my departure. All goes well." In fine condition, with light toning from prior display. The "Gabrielle" he mentions is Gabrielle Renard, a cousin of Renoir's wife and one of his models.
