Two items: a TLS signed "Hudson Maxim," one page, 8.25 x 6, personal letterhead, April 27, 1920, addressed to Charles D. Reid, which states that he has "received and autographed" a copy of Defenseless America and that he is returning it by mail; and a fountain pen signature, "Hiram S. Maxim," on an off-white 3.5 x 2.5 card. In overall fine condition, with a light paperclip impression to the Hiram card. From the collection of Stephen Adamson.
