Partly-printed DS, one page, 9.5 x 16, July 20, 1797. Land indenture between Aaron Burr and Mathew Goul, in which the former "hath granted, bargained, leased, demised and set over?all that certain Lot or piece of Ground part and parcel of the Farm or piece of Land in the Seventh Ward of the City of New York?bounded southerly in front on a certain Street lately laid out called Brannon Street." Signed at the conclusion by both Burr and Goul. Lower right bears two original paper seals. In very good condition, with toning, foxing, edge tears, and some areas of paper loss.
