Oscar-nominated, Russian-born actress (1876-1949) best remembered for her portrayal of Maleva, the old fortune teller in the 1941 horror classic The Wolf Man. Vintage glossy 8 x 10 photo of Ouspenskaya in a pleasant head-and-shoulder pose, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, "To Hal Shell, with best wishes, Maria Ouspenskaya.” In very good to fine condition, with tack holes to the corners, and show-through in the upper left corner from a rubber stamp on the back.
