Marshal and a French military leader during the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars (1765-1840). Partly-printed vellum DS, in French, signed “MacDonald,” one page, 17 x 14, December 11, 1819. Ornate Legion of Honor certificate presented to Joseph Templier, signed at the bottom in black ink by MacDonald. Also bears a secretarial signature of King Louis XVIII. In fine condition.
