Description

Historic glossy 10 x 8 photo of Walter Brattain's notebook pages recording the first demonstration of the transistor to officials at Bell Labs in December 1947, signed in ballpoint by Walter Brattain and John Bardeen, and in black felt tip by William Shockley. The three were awarded the 1956 Nobel Prize in Physics for 'researches on semiconductors and their discovery of the transistor effect.' In fine condition, with small corners creases.
