General Eisenhower forwards a facsimile of his shoulder sleeve insignia

World War II-dated TLS, one page, 6 x 8, Supreme Headquarters, Allied Expeditionary Force letterhead, September 18, 1944. Letter to Elmer Pearson, in full: "I shall indeed be delighted to send you a facsimile of my shoulder sleeve insignia. Thank you for your good wishes." Includes a color 8 x 10.5 print, the referenced facsimile that features the "Shoulder Sleeve Insignia" of the Supreme Headquarters, Allied Expeditionary Force. In fine condition, with two light diagonal creases. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope.
