American film and television actor (1903-1973) best known for appearances in many TV productions of the 60s including Twilight Zone and for his role as Captain Grey on the NBC police series M Squad Vintage glossy 8 x 10 close-up photo of Newlan by Hollywood photographer Amos Carr, signed and inscribed in ballpoint, "To Bonnie Lou, stay as sweet as you are & all my best wishes to you always, Paul Newlan, 12 o'clk high.” Collector's notation on reverse dates the signature to September 1966. In very good to fine condition, with creasing to the right side, a light central vertical bend, and surface impressions from notations on the back. Newlan's signature is rare in any format, this being the first example we have ever offered.
