TLS signed “Ike,” one page, 7.25 x 10.25, personal five-star general's letterhead, October 15, 1947. Letter to Mrs. Alice Snyder at West Point, in part: "Thanks greatly for remembering my birthday. Your message added just the right sparkle to the day. We missed you tremendously, but hope to see you soon." In very good to fine condition, with multiple horizontal folds, and a rather heavy vertical fold.
