Professional wrestler, born George Raymond Wagner (1915-1963), who gained mainstream popularity and became one of the biggest stars of the Golden Age of Wrestling. Excellent vintage glossy 8 x 10 full-length photo of the flamboyant wrestling legend in full costume during a 1954 match, signed and inscribed in blue fountain pen, "To Mr. and Mrs. Browne, Gorgeously Yours, Gorgeous George.” Typed notation to reverse dates the signature to February 1956. In very good to fine condition, with scattered light creasing, a heavier crease to the upper left corner, and light surface impressions from typed notations on the back.
