Swiss conductor (1883-1969) who served as the principal conductor of Sergei Diaghilev's Ballet Russe from 1915 to 1923, and later became noted for his recordings with Decca. Glossy 10 x 8 photo of Ansermet at his piano, signed and inscribed in blue ballpoint, and dated 1956. In fine condition, with a crease to the upper right corner.
