Description

Russian composer and pianist (1899-1977), whose Symphony No. 1 includes the first symphonic movement ever written completely for unpitched percussion. AMQS on the reverse of an off-white 5.5 x 3.25 postal card, signed in black ink, "A. Tcherepnin, 3-IV-76, NY," who adds two bars of music from a work for "2nd Piano." In fine condition, with two small corner creases.
